Program Description

Event Details

Join us to learn more about the fascinating brain of dyslexic students and what their brains do well!  In addition, we will address how to help dyslexics identify and develop their skills–a crucial aspect in gaining self-confidence and self-esteem.  We will be looking at dyslexic strengths as described in the book The Dyslexic Advantage by Brock and Fernette Eide, researchers with decades of experience working with dyslexic individuals, as well as The Dyslexia Empowerment Plan, by Ben Foss, a highly successful dyslexic entrepreneur.  It is not necessary to read either of these books before attending this meeting. Parents, caregivers, and teachers are all encouraged to attend. Registration is requested but not required. The facilitators for the discussion are Emily Kramer and Renee Saarloos.

There will be a Dyslexia Support Group program each month. Please sign up individually for the programs that you wish to attend.
