Program Description

Event Details

Join us to learn more about how to communicate with your child’s teacher when you have concerns about his or her reading abilities.  Some of the questions addressed include how to ask for help, how to ask for reading progress data, how to ask about dyslexia, and how to ask questions if English is not your primary language or if you are dyslexic yourself.  Registration is requested but not required. The facilitators for the discussion are Emily Kramer and Renee Saarloos.

There will be a Dyslexia Support Group program each month. Please sign up individually for the programs that you wish to attend.

The library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all. If you have any concerns about accessibility or need to request specific accommodations, please contact the library.

Photo Permission

Staff often take pictures during library programs. The library uses photos in its publicity, in social media, and on its website. If I do not want my photo used, I will contact Heidi at Heidi.Ouwinga@siouxcenterlibrary.org and the library will honor that request.
