Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a Dyslexia Simulation in honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month.  This simulation is designed to help people gain a better understanding of and empathy for those children and adults who struggle with dyslexia.  Parents, teachers, and other relatives or caregivers of dyslexics are all encouraged to attend this very eye-opening simulation–especially if they are not dyslexic themselves–to get a sense of the challenges dyslexics face, particularly in the school setting.  Registration is required by 5:00pm Monday, October 17, for this meeting in order to have enough materials for all the participants. The facilitators for the discussion are Emily Kramer and Renee Saarloos.

There will be a Dyslexia Support Group program each month. Please sign up individually for the programs that you wish to attend.
