Program Description

Event Details

Join us to understand more about how our brains learn (or don’t learn) how to read. Thanks to decades of neuroscience research we now not only know the exact neuropathways the brain utilizes when learning to read. We also know why dyslexic brains struggle to perform this function. The presentation will include information from neuroscience and reading researchers like Dr. Stainslas Dehaene, Dr. Marianne Wolf, Dr. Mark Seidenberg and dyslexia expert, Dr. Sally Shaywitz.  Registration is requested but not required. The facilitators for the discussion are Emily Kramer and Renee Saarloos.

There will be a Dyslexia Support Group program each month. Please sign up individually for the programs that you wish to attend.
