Program Description

Event Details

The NW Iowa Dyslexia Support Group meeting includes a presentation on a topic related to dyslexia and time to connect with other parents or educators interested in learning more about dyslexia and how to support dyslexic children and struggling readers. The facilitators for the discussion are Emily Kramer and Renee Saarloos. Please sign up individually for the programs that you wish to attend. Registration is requested but not required.

Dyslexia Terminology and Dyslexia and ADHD

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by all of the terms and acronyms that come along with reading testing and reading struggles? What if your child struggles with attention issues along with reading? Join us as we breakdown acronyms like IEP, IDEA and more, as well as discuss when dyslexia is accompanied by ADHD.
