Event Details
A writing workshop to encourage young writers (and reluctant writers!) to enjoy reading and writing poetry. With the use of word games, reading and writing activities in a collaborative setting this writing workshop will encourage the participants to discover the joy of putting their thoughts on paper. This workshop will focus on the link between art and poetry, exploring the world of color in poetry. Geared towards home schooled students, this workshop is open to students in grades 4-6 and meets the first Thursday of the month from 1:00-2:00pm in September-November. Registration is required.
