Program Description
Event Details
Literature will be a spring board for young teens and pre-teens as they learn about, and practice, a variety of types of writing. Participants will also read a number of poems as well as the books Love That Dog by Sharon Creech, The Giver by Lois Lowry, and The Wednesday Wars by Gary D. Schmidt. This program is geared towards 7th-8th graders, but may be of interest and advantage for 6th or 9th graders who would like opportunities to practice and strengthen their writing skills. Once registered, participants will receive an email with more details about the program.
