Library Branch: Off Site Room: Outreach/Offsite Age Group: Youth, Little Kids, Elementary Program Type: Arts & Crafts, Games & Activities, Storytimes, Summer Reading Program Registration Required Event Details: Story Time Thematic program using books, songs, and rhymes to assist the parent/caregiver in reading to their child. Activities support the development of language skills, listening skills, and word awareness for the purpose of encouraging a lifelong interest in reading. Activities and crafts are designed for children ages 3-6, but siblings of all ages are welcome to attend. Summertime story times will focus on the summer reading program theme of Reading Colors Your World. Activities will include collaborative art in Children's Park, as well as some special presenters on topics such as Eating the Rainbow.
