Showcase your creativity and building skills with this lego building contest!
Recreate a scene from a book or a book cover with lego.
Entries will be accepted April 20-24. Submit your entry at the circulation desk with a submission form provided.
There will be three winning categories
- Most Creative
- Silliest
- Most Intricate
Public voting will be Saturday, April 25 from 9:00-10:45am with winners announced at 11:00am.
RULES:
- Use your own Lego, Duplo or Lego brick equivalent pieces
- Entries must be your own creation, lego designed kits or published projects will be disqualified
- One entry per participant
- Creations cannot be biger than 2ft x 2ft x2ft
- Completed entries must be submitted to the circulation desk between April 20-24
- Only the first 50 entries will be accepted
- Contest entries will be judged and voted on in the following categories
- Most Creative Design
- Silliest Design
- Most Intricate Design
- There will be 2 winners for each category; one winner voted on by the public and one winner voted by staff
- Winners will be announced Saturday, Apr. 25 at 11:00am
- All Lego Creations must be picked up by April 30. Creations not picked up will be donated to the libraries lego collection.

Photo Permission
Staff often take pictures during library programs. The library uses photos in its publicity, in social media, and on its website. If I do not want my photo used, I will contact Heidi at Heidi.Ouwinga@siouxcenterlibrary.org and the library will honor that request.
