Jacob Van Wyk has a collection of fine art prints in multi-color lithographs from stone on display at the Sioux Center Library this fall. Attend a program to learn how Jacob makes prints in both lithography and plate etching. Jacob will have an Apocalyptic Vision show at Dordt University from November 14-January 5 with the artist's reception on November 30. Visit Jake's website at jakevanwyk.com to view his work. 

Jake has been working in the graphic mediums of drawing, printmaking and painting for the past 50 years. Jacob Van Wyk has more than 30 years of college teaching experience reflecting not only the wide range of media he works in, but also shares his enthusiasm for the artistic process and the excitement of making artistic work of consequence and visual presence.  Though retired from teaching at Dordt University, he contributes to many high schools college and churches and community groups across the United states by way of studio workshops, inspirational chapels, and adjudication for exhibits and competitions.
