Event Details

Join us for a clothing swap! On June 27 from 4-8pm, drop off as many items of clothing as you wish. Each item of clothing will earn 1 ticket, up to 10 tickets max. The tickets will then be used to “buy” items at the swap. Please note that while any age can drop off and “shop” at the swap, we are limiting the swap to adult clothing only. Children age 5 and younger must be accompanied by an adult, per library policy. Clothing drop-offs will not be accepted the day of the swap (June 29).

The swap event will be on Saturday, June 29. From 9:00am-12:00pm, ticket holders are invited to bring their tickets to select their items. From 12:00pm-2:00pm, the public (non-ticket holders) is invited to come and "shop" with optional freewill donation, while supplies last. Clothing guidelines are as follows: 

  • Collect your clothing items that you simply don’t wear anymore, don't fit or are bored of 

  • This can include light coats, jackets, blouses, vests, sweaters, 
    pants, shorts, skirts, dresses, and footwear 

  • Adult clothing only – we will not accept children’s/baby clothing 

  • We will not accept accessories such as jewelry, hair accessories, ties/bowties, handbags, etc. 

  • All garments must be clean and in good repair 

  • Library staff reserve the right to refuse items if felt not suitable for the swap 

  • We do not accept undergarments (bras/underwear/undershirts/etc.) 

  • This event is of no charge and leftover items will be donated to Melissa’s Hope Chest

Photo Permission
