The long break from school means that reading ability and comprehension can slip. SPLASH helps students fill the “summer gap” of reading. The program focuses on the summer reading program theme and includes literacy activities, recommending books, literature discussions, games, crafts, and more.

Darrin Crow, Talespinner & Toubadour, with his wife Robin, will present, "Beyond the Beaten Path". The story follows two young Iowa couples as they get married and the men go to Vietnam- one in the Navy and one in the Army.
