The long break from school means that reading ability and comprehension can slip. SPLASH helps students fill the “summer gap” of reading. The program focuses on the summer reading program theme and includes literacy activities, recommending books, literature discussions, games, crafts, and more.Adventure Begins at Your Library! Through books, games, making food, and more children will have library adventures!

Enjoy an adventure into the excitement and wonder of the world of storytelling! Darrin Crow will keep children on the edge of their seats as he crafts stories of folk tales and fairytales from around the world.

The story follows two young Iowa couples as they get married and the men go to Vietnam- one in the Navy and one in the Army.
