On February 7, thousands of libraries across the world celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day by offering free, fun, fabulous activities for families.  Your local library is an ideal place for children to play, discover, make friends, and have fun. And Take Your Child to the Library Day is the perfect time to discover some library magic.

Sioux Center Public Library is celebrating Take Your Child to the Library Day on Thursday February 5! Join us for Pop up & Play, Sensory Story Time, Valentine Card Making** and more! We'd love to see you and the special child(ren) in your life here at the library. 

Stop in for a visit. Enjoy the activities. Get a library card (they're free!), meet our Children's Programmers, and explore all the wonders that your local library has to offer your family. And be sure to stop in again soon – because every day is a great day to take your child to the library.

 

*Libraries may choose a different day that works for them (instead of the 1st Saturday).
