Our goal is to give new as well as experienced dancers the confidence, foundational methods and skill set to swing dance in any social environment. We will be instructing the class in a 4 count, single step swing style, helping students learn to lead and follow well and teaching a variety of simple and fun moves!
What to wear: You may wear whatever clothes you’re comfortable dancing in. If you’d like to dress up, go for it. If you’d like to dress down and wear sweats, that’s cool too! This will be a comfortable, family-friendly environment. Just remember, this is physical activity, so be prepared to sweat and wear clothing that you can move comfortably in. For shoes, we generally wear socks (great for spinning!), but you’re welcome to wear clean street shoes that haven’t been worn outdoors.
What to bring: Take along a learning spirit, a positive attitude and a refillable water bottle.
You are encouraged to sign up for the new texting service to be informed of last-minute changes.
