Join us along with other libraries across the state for a Seed Swap and Giveaway Event! Started with NIne Square Feet, an organization out of Des Moines, IA, this seed swap has grown to over 30+ libraries and destinations across Iowa. Select from an awesome collection of seed varieties - vegetables and herbs, flowers, and native prairie species. Small space selections. Easy-to-grow varieties. Perennial and pollinator-friendly selections. We bet you’ll find just the right varieties for your garden. All seeds are specific to grow well in our zone. 

Have some seeds to share? Bring them in and swap them for a new variety to try! The library will have some small envelopes to put your seeds in to share with others. Don't have any seeds to swap this year? Don't worry! Take home a couple envelopes to use from your crop this year and bring them in to the next seed swap.
