Want to impact your child’s development in a positive way?  Read to them every day!

Gwen Marra is excited to share the importance of reading with young children on April 8.  This informational talk will give insight into the impact of reading on child development.  We will learn different ways to read with children and explore some developmentally appropriate reading material.  Please join us and feel free to take your child(ren) with you!

Gwen Marra is a parent, a teacher, and a reader. She has spent the last 30 years in the field of education, engaging children and future educators in literacy experiences and sharing her love of books with anyone who will listen. She is a life-long Sioux Center resident and also a professor at Dordt University.
