Program Description

Event Details

Living Leaf Microgreens' grower Teresa den Hoed will be hosting a workshop at the Sioux Center Public Library for those who'd like to start their own kit for growing this organic superfood! "Microgreens are just mini versions of the full grown plants that you might grow yourself or buy from your local farmers market." At Living Leaf, they avoid GMO's, chemicals, all the -cides so their microgreens are certified organic and are crisp, flavorful and delicious. Microgreens can be used wherever you use greens: tacos, salads, soup, wraps, etc. They are packed with essential amino acids, minerals and nutrients!

Register for the class and go home with your own Home Grow kit and begin your journey to eating healthy microgreens! Teresa will help you get your seeds planted and ready to go with helpful tips on growing your plants. Space is limited - register today!
