Event Details

Join us in Sioux City to watch an Explorer's baseball game! The Sioux Center summer reading participants will be announced prior to the game and given the opportunity to run the bases.  Three Sioux Center youth readers will be chosen to throw the starting pitch! Youth will receive a free pass to the game as their 10-day reading prize and be entered for a chance to throw the pitch. Relatives of the readers will be able to purchase a discounted ticket for the game for $8. If you have an Explorer's shirt, wear it to show your support. The Sioux City Explorer's will be playing the Winnipeg Goldeyes. We would love to see a great Sioux Center showing supporting our readers. Gates open 1 hour before the game, see you there!
