Program Description

Event Details

Join us on the east lawn of the library to watch the solar eclipse! We will have two telescopes with solar filters for safe viewing of the eclipse on April 8. Library staff will be out with the telescopes from 12:30-3:15. Peak viewing time for the eclipse in our region is 1:56pm. Siouxland will see the eclipse reach 70-80% totality.

If you haven't picked up your eclipse glasses, we will have around 100 eclipse glasses to hand out, while supplies last.
