Program Description

Event Details

Do you know a child struggling to learn to read? Have you wondered if they are dyslexic and what you can do to help them learn to read? Join Emily Kramer and Renee Saarloos for a time of information about struggling readers and dyslexia--what is dyslexia, signs of possible dyslexia in children and adults, and what steps to take if parents or teachers suspect a child may be dyslexic. A discussion of the challenges dyslexics face will also be included.  Emily and Renee will share their own stories with parenting struggling readers and the journey to a dyslexia diagnosis. Parents and educators are welcome to attend and a question and answer time will be included.  This event will be similar to a previous event with some new information as well. Registration is requested but not required.
