Are you looking to elevate your business flyers, work and school projects, or social media posts? Learn the basics of Canva, an online editing tool you can utilize to step-up your graphic design game. No design experience needed — simply pick a template, add your own photo, tweak the text, and voilà! Your masterpiece will be ready!

In this workshop, you will learn how to

  • Access the Canva platform for the first time
  • Use and customize various Canva templates
  • Search and personalize Canva editor
  • Upload and use photo tools
  • Use other editing elements
  • Use Magic Edit tools like Background Remover (Pro only)
  • Find fonts and use text
  • Share and collaborate on designs
  • Save, download, and organize your projects

Everyone with an email address can create a free Canva account. Nonprofits that meet certain criteria may be eligible for a Pro account for free.

Please bring your own laptop to the class (if you have one). You will also need to be able to log in to your email account.

Photo Permission
